Controlled Access and/or Lockdown Controlled Access Use and/or Direct all parties to the specific ingress and egress points as communicated by Security, Law Enforcement or the IMT. These may be external and/or internal based on incident dynamics. Lockdown All external entrances and exists shall be secured and a security post established. (A trusted individual/designee may be used if safe to do so). Additional controlled access/lockdown may be indicated or communicated by Security, Law Enforcement or the IMT. Secure all windows, close shades, blinds, drapes and keep all parties away from external doors/windows. Calm and reassure staff, employees, patients and visitors if present. Ensure all maintain their situational awareness during the Lockdown event. |
