EXERCISE EXERCISE EXERCISE NOTE: Leaving Site Up for training purposes at this time. STARTEX Situation: Reports of an Active Shooter/Hostile Event (AS/HE) at the Freedom Mortgage Pier. Background: Camden County Communications has been advised that there is an AS/HE incident at the FMP. Weapon/s involved are long arms/rifles. Reports of "dozens" of casualties of varying triage categories. Assessment: Reports from venue ICP confirm above. Law Enforcement at the venue, enroute and assigned Rescue Task Force (RTF) responding per County AS/HE Plan. Remainder of units sent to Level II Staging at CFD HQ 3rd and Federal. Response: Mass Casualty Incident Declared. PD, FD, EMS, RTF, AST's, EMSTF's and AS/HE response arriving or responding. Prepare to receive casualties. Follow MCI-IRG attached, email and FASTCOMMAND (NOTE: Exercise play will stop at ED/TAA relative to casualty treatment. Some messaging/direction will be notional. ED/TAA, EMS, CODs, Family Assistance Center, PIO assigned will be playing. All others please review materials and respond to queries if directed to you.
